Understand the pain
A project disappearing without warning was the starting point. I used surveys, interviews, and gym visits to understand why it happened and what staff needed to solve it.
PRODUCT OWNER. 0 TO 1 BUILDER
I’m Kyle, a software enthusiast with seven years across enterprise sales, business analysis, and product delivery. I turn customer and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and shipped software. I’m open to product manager, product owner, and business analyst roles.

01 / A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I was a collegiate competitive climber before I started building software.
I would spend several sessions trying to complete a route, then come back to the gym and find it had been taken down without warning. Gyms need to reset their walls, but Instagram posts, bulletin boards, and website updates were easy to miss.
Other climbers and competitors described the same frustration. The information we needed belonged to gym staff, so I started asking what would make a new tool useful enough for setters to use in their daily work.
In 2019 I founded Everclimb LLC to solve it. Everclimb is the company behind two connected products: AMPclimb for gym teams and Climbary for climbers. To build them, I had to understand how routes were created, how gyms operated, and what made climbers come back. That research shaped the product from its first prototype through launch.
02 / EXPERIENCE
Seven years across enterprise sales, business analysis, and product ownership. I have sold to the customer, written the requirements, and owned the backlog.
Sep 2025 – Present
GTT Communications
I own the product backlog and lead delivery of automation for quoting and order creation, including Quote-to-Order enhancements and Order Assurance dashboards. I work daily with sales, operations, technology, and senior leadership to align requirements, timelines, and risk.
Jun 2019 – Present
Everclimb LLC
I founded Everclimb and led a seven-person team to launch a B2B SaaS platform and a mobile app, onboarding 15 gyms and around 300 climbers. Read the product journey →
Aug 2023 – Sep 2025
GTT Communications
I led requirements elicitation for several concurrent initiatives and turned business needs into user stories. I ran backlog refinement and sprint planning, tracked risks and dependencies in Jira, and was the main contact between stakeholders and engineering.
Apr 2019 – Aug 2023
GTT Communications
I managed 50+ mid-market and enterprise accounts and sold to C-suite buyers. I grew monthly recurring revenue to $200,000+, reached 150% of my annual revenue target three years running, and kept a 90% renewal rate.
Jan 2018 – Apr 2019
Scavengers Studio
I built the feedback process that prioritized 30–150 weekly bug reports and feature requests in Jira, and grew the community from 100 to 50,000+ members.
03 / THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK
I spoke with climbers, route setters, and owners, tested the workflows, and led the team through development and launch. I also went on site to help gyms get started.
A project disappearing without warning was the starting point. I used surveys, interviews, and gym visits to understand why it happened and what staff needed to solve it.
I learned how setters manage routes, how climbers track progress, and what owners need to oversee the gym. Each group needed a reason to use the product.
I led a seven-person team across design, front-end, and back-end development. I set priorities and worked with the team to turn user needs into the web platform and mobile app.
I tested with setters and climbers, launched the platform, and onboarded 15 gyms and around 300 climbers. On-site walkthroughs helped me see what needed to change in daily use.
FROM RESEARCH TO REAL USE
I hosted an AMPclimb booth at CWA for three years, selling the product and learning from customers. I also joined routesetting roundtables and researched competitors. Alongside six surveys with 1,000 responses and visits to 60 out-of-state gyms, that work shaped what I tested and delivered.
